Charity & Causes

The money raised by Rotary from this event will go to a variety of causes that local Rotarians decide to support. The Rotary Club has a trust fund into which all monies collected for charity are paid.

Cancer Research UK The members, currently numbering forty men and women, will allocate the money to various causes. Every decision has to be ratified by the club members as a whole.

It has already been decided that half the proceeds from the Dragon Boat Race will be given to the Cancer Research UK with the other half to their own charity.

• All sponsorship to the Rotary Trust Fund, as above
• 50% as above, with the other half to there own registered charity
