The City of Hereford Rotary Club welcomes you to the
Rotary Charity River Festival

Rotary is looking for your support for a family day of fun to be held on the river Wye in Hereford. It is all in aid of charity. See separate information on causes supported.

On August Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 2008 there will be plenty of activity on the river and its banks between Hunderton Bridge and the Rowing Club west of the city.

Dragon Boat Racing

• Plenty to see with a race every ten minutes
• Great fun for participants
• Sideshows, food stalls, ice cream

Duck Race

At about 4pm, prior to the Dragon Boat final thousands of small plastic ducks will be launched from Hunderton Bridge, which goes over the river Wye. The ducks will float down the river and they will be collected opposite Hereford Rowing Club.

Each duck will have an 'owner' who will have brought the rights to that duck. 'Owners' of the first ducks to reach the finish will win prizes.
